What we publish
We write practical guides about home organization, small-space living, indoor gardening, simple DIY projects, everyday routines and spending less. Every guide is written for a normal apartment, a normal income and a normal week.
We do not publish extreme routines, unsafe shortcuts, get-rich-quick schemes or advice that only works if you own a house and have unlimited time.
How we work
Our editorial standard is simple: explain the idea, show how to apply it, and link the evidence. Where a claim comes from a government, university or nonprofit source, the guide links to it. Where a recommendation is our own judgment, we say so.
Articles are reviewed for clarity, usefulness and source quality before publication. When we correct a meaningful error, we update the guide and its review date rather than quietly deleting the old text.
The full standard is published in our editorial policy — sourcing, review dates, corrections, tool use and how editorial decisions stay separate from advertising.
How the site is funded
Better Living Guide is supported by labelled advertising space and, when it launches, a reader newsletter. There are no sponsored guides and no paywall: every guide is free to read. Advertising is sold around the content and never inside a recommendation.
Independence and advertising
Editorial decisions are separate from advertising. Reserved ad space is labelled, and a commercial relationship never buys a positive review or a place in a guide. If that changes, the disclosure will appear on the affected page.
Corrections and contact
Found something inaccurate, unclear or out of date? We want to know. Contact the editorial desk with the guide title and the passage you are questioning.
